The winning filmmaker receives a $50,000 cash prize, the largest cash prize bestowed by a U.S. Film Festival.

Audience Award for Best Short

Both the Target Filmmaker Award for Best Narrative Feature and the Target Documentary Award for Best Documentary Feature will be announced before the Closing Night premiere of Hellboy II: The Golden Army on Saturday, June 28.

The Spirit of Independence Award as well as the Jury and Audience prizes will be presented at the Festival Award Ceremony on Sunday, June 29.
